A new family doctor is coming to Kincardine.
The municipality says Dr. Yousry Soliman has signed an agreement and will launch a new family practice in the Kincardine Family Health Organization, as early as May.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Soliman will also be practicing at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre’s Kincardine Hospital.
This recruitment is part of the Municipality of Kincardine’s successful participation in Practice Ready Ontario a Ministry of Health pilot program that started in 2023.
The program designed to accelerate the integration of internationally trained physicians into communities with high healthcare needs.
The same program has also recently brought a new doctor to Wiarton and another to Sauble Beach.
