The City of Owen Sound is holding a Household Hazardous Waste event today
The event invites residents from Owen Sound, Chatsworth, Georgian Bluffs, Grey Highlands, and Meaford to attend the Owen Sound Public Works facility from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to dispose of their waste.
Some of the items attendees can dispose of include antifreeze, batteries, bleach, detergents, fertilizers, and more.
The event will not accept anything infectious, radioactive, explosive, unidentified, or waste not properly contained.
