
A threatening phone call to a financial institution in Walkerton has resulted in charges.
South Bruce OPP officers attended the business Wednesday afternoon to confirm the well-being of employees, after receiving a report of a threatening phone call.
“Investigation revealed that an individual contacted the location and is alleged to have made threats to harm employees on site,” South Bruce OPP say in a release.
Police did not identify the exact financial institution the alleged incident occurred at.
The OPP arrested and charged a 42-year-old Arran-Elderslie resident with uttering threats cause death or bodily harm.
Police say the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
