Highway 6 is still closed as of 4 p.m Friday in both directions between Spring Creek Road and Shepard Lake Road in Hepworth.
OPP say it could remain closed until sometime Saturday after a collision between a transport truck and a hydro pole. The pole was knocked down and efforts are underway to put up a new one, but opp now say OPP it could be Saturday before it reopens.
“Plan alternate routes and expect delays,” police say in a social media post.
There are alternate, backroad routes up that section of the Bruce Peninsula both east and west of that stretch of Highway 6.
