Justin McCarthy of Desboro has taken the top salmon spot of the McDonald’s Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular.
McCarthy reeled in a salmon weighing 20.45lbs, just beating out yesterday’s early lead held by Mike Moley’s 20.4lbs salmon.
Ken Helder of Georgian Bluffs is also now on the Fairmount Security Services Leaderboard with his 16.36lbs lake trout.
Anglers entered in 354 fish yesterday.
The 10-day derby continues today.
