
All of the Chi-Cheemaun sailings scheduled today have been cancelled.
The Owen Sound Transportation Company put out an advisory Friday morning saying the 8:50 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. departures from Tobermory, and the 11:10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. trips from South Baymouth (Manitoulin Island) are cancelled.
The 6:10 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. sailings are also cancelled.
The ferry cancellations are due to bad weather conditions. There is currently a wind warning for the Grey Bruce region.
SAILING CANCELLATION, for Friday September 5, 2025. The 08:50, 11:10, 13:30, 15:50 MS Chi Cheemaun sailings from Tobermory and South Baymouth have been cancelled due to weather. The captain will make a decision about the 18:10 sailing this afternoon.
