The Wiarton Fall Fair starts tonight and continues Saturday.
Wiarton Agricultural Society Treasurer Kim Rydall says the 157th fall fair opens Friday at 6:30 p.m.
There’s free face painting, a heavy horse pull and a horse log skid (where horses pull a log through an obstacle course) exhibits, food booths, quilt show, line dancing, the crowning of the fall fair ambassador and the farmers olympics.
On Saturday from 8:30 to 12:30 there a breakfast in support of the Bruce Peninsula Hospital Foundation at the curling club.
Events on Saturday include a touch a tractor event, a tiny tots light horse show, sheep shearing competitions, baby show, bouncy castle, mechanical bull, Petunia the Clown, antique and classic horse show, live music, square dancing and a safari animal show.
The fair closes at 4 Saturday afternoon.
