The Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation election is underway today (August 6th).
A new chief and nine band councillors will be chosen.
Previous Chief Greg Nadjiwon is not running for re-election.
Nadjiwon had been Chief since 2015.
Voting goes until 8 tonight at the Kikendaasogaming Elementary School.
