Grey Bruce OPP say two people have been arrested and charged in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.
According to a release from the OPP, the Grey Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit became aware of a person last Thursday (Nov. 14) allegedly involved in drug trafficking who was travelling on Highway 21 towards Saugeen Shores.
“Officers attended and located the driver along with a passenger who was also a person of interest,” OPP say in a release.”During the search officers discovered and seized a quantity of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone capsules, dilaudid pills, morphine pills along with drug paraphernalia.”
Police say the combined street value of the seized narcotics is over $26,000.
Two Saugeen First Nation residents, ages 37 and 46, were arrested and charged with several drug trafficking offences, and possession of a prohibited device or ammunition for a dangerous purpose.
