If you’re not thinking about your cheque book anymore, Hanover police have a word of caution for you.
Police Chief Chris Knoll says officers arrested a 32-year-old Hanover man for Fraud Under $5000, Uttering Forged Documents & Possession of Stolen Property after completing an investigation related to stolen cheques.
Knoll says others have also been arrested involving the same case.
He’s reminding everyone to track their cheque books and cancel any that may go missing with their local financial institutions.
