Another offseason addition for the Owen Sound Attack.
The team announced Monday afternoon the signing of defenceman John Alex Banks, who played for the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the BCHL during the 2024-25 season.
“We believe he will fit seamlessly into our group and add to the offensive side of our game,” Attack General Manager Dale DeGray says in a release.
Banks, 18, had 31 points (7-24–31) in 47 games with Sherwood Park last season. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound defender has a commitment to play NCAA hockey at the University of Massachusetts in 2026-27, according to online prospect reports.
