South Bruce OPP have charged an Arran-Elderslie woman with arson, after a recent structure fire in Burgoyne.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a residence in Burgoyne last Thursday morning, and the OPP say officers determined the fire had been “deliberately set” by someone who was still on scene.
South Bruce OPP officers arrested a 26-year-old woman and have now charged her with arson and two counts of assault with a weapon.
No other information’s been released about the incident.
The 26-year-old accused was remanded into custody at a bail hearing.
