Owen Sound police have arrested a Wiarton man after a weapon related incident.
Police say at about 11 Thursday night officers responded to a report of a man threatening people with a machete in the area of 9th Street and 1st Avenue West.
They sat officers arrived within one minute of the call and arrested the man without incident.
A 63-year-old man from Wiarton, Ontario, has been charged with possession of a weapon, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, and possession of meth.
No injuries were reported.
