Owen Sound Fire and Emergency Services responded to a water rescue in the inner harbour Tuesday night.
They say just after 8:30 p.m., they received a report of an individual found face down in the water.
A firefighter entered the water to assess the individual while crews launched the department’s rescue boat.
They brought the person aboard and firefighters say resuscitative efforts were initiated.
The person was transferred to Grey County paramedics and taken to hospital where, according to the fire department, they are being treated.
