A major electronics retailer is coming to Owen Sound.
A spokesperson for Best Buy confirms the company is opening a new location at 2125 16th Street East, in the Heritage Grove Plaza that houses several big box stores in the east end of the city.
“With the nearest Best Buy big box store located approximately 1.5 hours away, this new small format location will make it easier for the Owen Sound community and surrounding area to access the latest technology, expert advice and services closer to home,” a Best Buy Canada spokesperson says in an email correspondence.
Signage has already gone up at the new store location, which is scheduled to host its grand opening next month on Sept. 18.
