The Owen Sound Attack traded goaltender Matthew Korprowski to the Peterborough Petes.
The Attack will receive a conditional 15-round pick (Soo) in the 2028 OHL Priority Selection in return. According to a release from the Petes, the pick will become an 11th round selection if Koprowski remains with the Petes past Jan. 10, 2027.
Koprowski, 19, was waived by the Attack ahead of the start of the 2026-27 OHL regular season after the acquisition of Maksim Corovic from the Brantford Bulldogs.
The Komoka native spent parts of three seasons in Owen Sound, appearing in 51 games. He had a 16-23-6 record, 4.32 goals against average and .870 save percentage. Koprowski also posted one shutout during his time in Owen Sound.
“On behalf of the Owen Sound Attack, we would like to thank Matt Koprowski for all of his time, effort, and dedication to our organization,” Attack President and General Manager Tyler Nother says in a team release. “We believe in putting players first, and we worked hard to ensure Matt found a new opportunity in the OHL and we wish him all the best with the Peterborough Petes.”
